LEO Waning Moon

Inner Attunement

Half Waning MOON at 27°LEO where Creative Ambitions are key!

As we draw deeper into the autumnal light, nearer comes the inner view where our creative desires are held, ever so dear.

A Waning Leo Moon honoring outer awareness just as Thanksgiving approaches! The Sabian picture symbol for this lunation degree:

Attunement with the cycles of nature begets a grand ceremony honoring outer awareness.

Inner attunment for 7 more days, leading up to a Sage New Moon on 11/26. The half waning Moon rises at midnight and sets at noon.

Venus & Sun in Leo

Ambitious Outer Harmony

VENUS catches the SUN in his own domain at 21°LEO where Personal Ambition is key!

A big shift today! Rather like a changing of the guard as Lady Love transitions from Morning Star to Evening Star.

Venus has been leading the way across the sky each day since the Sun caught up with her in Scorpio on 10.3.18.

Now she follows! Watching every move the Outer Self makes until the Sun catches her again in June of 2020.

The constellation for this area of Leo is CORVUS the Crow with the whole lookin' out for #1 kind of vibe.

Long ago, the Ancients traced the ambitious crow in the sky to aptly reflect the energy of personal ambition.

Perhaps it's true! What we pay attention to and talk about is highly reflective of our own personal ambitions.

Venus will be watching! Bringing full attention to all things we really love! The Sabian picture symbol for this degree:

A CARRIER-PIGEON ALIGHTS AT DAWN BEFORE HIS OWNERS.

A higher thought form arrives with brand new awareness for the whole self.

Moon & Mercury in Leo

Powerful Inner Mind

MOON meets MERCURY at 3°LEO where Personal Rulership is key!

Additional action this Independence Day! Right along with the push for Inner Movement at the Moon/Mars meetup!

The constellation for this area of Leo is CRATER the celestial cup that sits upon the back of sea serpent HYDRA.

Mythology speaks to the energy of Leo in epic tale! APOLLO was viewed as the essence of the Sun in (human form).

Leo is ruled by the Sun. As the myths relay, Crater is the Cup of Apollo. One day, Apollo was thirsting for experience.

So he sends his power animal CORVUS the Crow with cup in tow, to fetch some water of conscious life experience.

But the Crow finds some fruit, soon to be ripe in a few days, so he spends the time waiting, only to stuff his own gullet.

Needing an alibi for his return with an empty cup, the crow grabs a snake to blame for blocking access to the water.

Apollo was wise to the ambitious Crow and knew his words to be untrue. On that day, crows lost their ability to speak.

Apollo places a Wise Owl, Receptive Cup, Ambitious Crow, and Creative Urge of a Snake in the heavens for all to see!

A permanent record so mankind can remember this common human struggle over the base instinct of selfish ambition.

Perhaps the CROW is very well suited for reflecting this natural instinct of the Outer Self; the energy of personal AMBITION.

As the story goes, crows were originally white. Quite symbolic of a time when the ambitions of man were truly pure.

The picture symbol for this degree reflects the old adage and modern country verse: "A little less talk, and a lot more action."

A FORMALLY DRESSED ELDERLY MAN STANDS NEAR TROPHIES FROM A HUNTING EXPEDITION.

A dignified outer representation of long standing wisdom reflects the idea that successes are gained through transformation of base instincts.

Moon & Mars in Leo

Independent Inner Movement

MOON meets MARS at 1°LEO where Personal Rulership is key!

This meetup has the whole "when the going gets tough, the tough get going" kind of vibe! Are you feeling it too!

To accomplish the Inner Movement reflected by this alignment requires a certain willingness to face unpleasant situations.

With (fixity of purpose) this kind of willingness is considered quite courageous! The Sabian picture symbol for this meetup degree:

THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED BY AN EPIDEMIC, CHILDREN PLAY TOGETHER.

A place in mind for learning is shut down by widespread unproductive thinking. Yet, developing aspects continue to acquire skill by utilizing the imagination.

MARS in LEO

Courageous Action

Just before the New Moon/Solar Eclipse majestic MARS enters LEO where Willpower is key!

Motivational Mars tours the Leo Realm of Willpower through August 17th.

The forecast is a nice leisurely tour with a notable meetup on the border of July/Aug.

Where July ends and August begins, MARS meets Asteroid JUNO and the MOON.

A little meetup that offers us all Courageous Motivation towards Inner Commitment.

MERCURY in LEO

Willpower of Mind

MERCURY enters LEO where Personal Rulership is key!

A big shift of Mind from the Cancerian realm of feeling to a LEO fixity of purpose!

The will to keep the mind focused on its strongest desires to conquer and to create!

Along with the famed Leo courage to stay the course, even though obstacles may arise.

Mercury enters the fixed fire sign of Leo and goes on a formidable Rx Mission, July 7th.

Then backtracks into Cancer for a little more Inner Research before going direct again.

The Sabian picture symbol for the first degree of Leo really sums up the full potential here!

BLOOD RUSHES TO A MAN’S HEAD AS HIS VITAL ENERGIES ARE MOBILIZED UNDER THE SPUR OF AMBITION.

Life force meets the thinking and the personal creative energies are moved by a strong desire to do and achieve.

JUNO in LEO

Commitment to Willpower

Asteroid JUNO tours the LEO Realm of Personal Rulership until the Sun enters Virgo on 8/23

An extra fiery boost of Committed Willpower just before the Summer Solstice that will be flowing right along throughout the celestial months of Cancer and Leo.

LEO Half Waxing Moon

BUILDING INNER AMBITION

Half Waxing MOON in LEO where Willful Ambition is key!

We're halfway through this Inner Build phase as the MOON reaches exactly 90° away from the Sun.

During the Celestial Month of TAURUS all the major lunations occur in the four (stabilizing) Fixed signs.

Long ago, the Ancients traced the crow in the sky to reflect the personal energy of willful ambition.

The constellation for this area of Leo is CORVUS the Crow, with a whole lookin' out for #1 kind of vibe.

Perhaps it's true! What we pay attention to and talk about is highly reflective of our own inner ambitions.

According to myth, crows were once as white as snow, until a certain scandal-mongering incident.

In this mythical tale the crow was playing the scandalmonger role and was henceforth turned black.

Luckily there are higher thought forms to direct the attention to! The Sabian picture symbol for this lunation degree:

A CARRIER-PIGEON ALIGHTS AT DAWN BEFORE HIS OWNERS.

A higher thought form is available (brand new awareness) for the main aspects of self.

Inner Build Mode for 7 more days leading up to a magical Full Moon! Like clockwork, the Half Waxing Moon rises at noon and sets at midnight.

Full Moon Eclipse in Leo

Trading in the howl

Yes indeed, time for a good ole roar!

SUPER FULL MOON ECLIPSE in LEO where the theme is WILLPOWER!

Currently, the lunar cycle begins at the Full Moon, this shift occurred at the Lunar Eclipse back in July. A remarkable pattern of full moon degrees since that time; 4-3-2-1-0-0-0-0-0.

This string of zero degree Full Moons is rather like giant dose of (full energetic expression) energy! The SUN & MOON both positioned on an all encompassing zero degree, and the Moon in full expression mode!

At the eclipse, the earth is positioned right in between the Sun and Moon, offering greater awareness of both the Inner & Outer main aspects of self; viewable by the positions of the SUN & MOON at birth.

The name "Super Blood Wolf Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse" seems fitting, in a hungry like a wolf kind of way! The Sabian symbol for this zero degree lunation, reflects the full potentialities of LEO energy!

BLOOD RUSHES TO A MAN’S HEAD AS HIS VITAL ENERGIES ARE MOBILIZED UNDER THE SPUR OF AMBITION.

Life force meets the thinking and the personal creative energies are moved by a strong desire to do and achieve.

Full Inner Moon with the fixed fire energy of LEO; where the job is bringing fixed stability to the expansive fire. Outer Sun now in the fixed air mode of AQUARIUS; bringer of stability to the mind, thought, and experience.

Moon, Mercury & Hypnos

INNER SELF, MIND & SLEEP

In LEO where the theme is REFORM - Productive Change

Lots of dreams leading up to this meetup!

During SLEEP, the Conscious Mind MERCURY (powers down) and the Subconscious Inner MOON (powers up). Yet, sometimes Mercury (the Mind) remembers the dreams!

This is tricky, as Mercury thinks literally! The Subconscious realm of sleep and dreams is far from literal, it’s REFLECTIVE! The Inner Moon (reflects) the energies of the Outer Self.

Just like the MOON reflects the light of the SUN! The Inner Subconscious reflects the state of awareness, (the light) of the Outer Conscious Self. It’s viewed as FUNCTION vs FORM.

Universal (function vs form) symbolism works for everyone! Dream images reflect; (functions) of the energies in play, within the consciousness. Like the Sabian symbol for this degree!

A BARGE MADE INTO A CLUBHOUSE IS CROWDED WITH REVELERS.

A means of moving through life experiences is made into a place in mind that's full of joy.

The Subconscious MOON in the HYPNOS realm of sleep is a means for moving through life experiences. Yet, when MERCURY joins the party; this means becomes a place in mind!

The realm of sleep and dreams becomes a place in mind for receiving valuable subconscious feedback. A place in mind with ample opportunity for greater SELF AWARENESS!
