In the days of old, the alchemical formula for ILLUMINATION was said to be; blending the Inner Wisdom of the Moon with the Love of Venus.

It is about that time of year! But back to the Arrow, oh the symbolism! Notably, an arrow represents taking action towards a particular aim. 

An arrow is shot from a bow, requiring the careful dexterity and use of both hands. So it's about more than just taking action towards the goal. 

Hands are a longstanding symbol of purpose. Having a purpose for the goal adds the powerful energy of intention (reason for the actions) behind it. 

The Inner Love Cupid's Arrow lesson today is rather like another age old teaching, this one made of three parts; GOAL, PURPOSE, and ACTIVITY.

Mind and the Outer Self

MERCURY meets the SUN in AQUARIUS where the theme is Authentic Originality! 

The goal in this fixed air sign of Aquarius is bringing stability to the thinking by being true to the self, by expressing the authentic self. 

The constellation for this area of Aquarius is Equuleus; the head of a horse. Symbolic of the Horse Sense to; thine own self be true.

Waning Scorpio Moon

INNER RELEASE MODE

Half Waning MOON in SCORPIO with a Resourceful approach to fulfilling the Desires!

This Moon marks the halfway point through the waning release phase of this (fixed mode) lunar cycle. In line, with the fixed air sign Season of Aquarius. 

Fixed energy is motivated towards stability. In the fixed water sign of Scorpio the focus is on discovering the stability found within the life experiences. 

The constellation for this area of Scorpio is the healer Ophiuchus who is wrestling a snake! Suggestive of a struggle with the energy of creative life force. 

The Inner Subconscious Moon is counterpart to Outer Conscious Sun within us all, and this quite invisible inner aspect, desires creative expression too!

Ceres in Sagittarius

Natural Higher Vision

Asteroid CERES enters Sagittarius for a high aiming extended stay! 

Ceres is the largest asteroid orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. 

In mythology, Ceres had charge over agriculture and all that grows from the earth. The glyph for Ceres is even shaped like a sickle. 

(1)Ceres has an orbit of 4.6 years. This rare extended tour through the Land of the Sage, which includes a retrograde period, will last through mid Nov. 

It will be interesting to see, if a new higher view of all the miraculous foods that are grown from the earth is gained during this lengthy Ceres transit. 

A new higher vision of Nature! Especially the difference between fake foods and the earth grown varieties of the highest order, perfectly constructed for human design! 

Ceres will meet Jupiter, the truth seer, and sage ruler of Sagittarius for a short time in October, just as the Sun makes grand entrance into the deep diving realm of Scorpio.

Mercury in Aquarius

A Big Shift of Mind! 

MERCURY enters AQUARIUS, where the Mind joins forces with the outer focus of the Sun.

Those with a strongly placed, or ruling natal Mercury, are much more likely to feel this subtle shifting of energies than most. 

This played out in real time, here! A huge shift of mind from yesterday to today, with the mind and outer focus, now on the same page.

Thoughts move from the structured, useful Capricorn themes; to that of the collective minded, freedom loving, Aquarius kind. 

Both the Sun and Mercury are now looking for Authentic Expression! Until their meetup late this month when Mercury passes the Sun.

As the Sun & Mercury do their leapfrog dance around our celestial sphere, there are two major shifts that are quite easily viewed. 

When one is ahead of the other (degree wise) in the grand celestial wheel. It is the other that leads the way across the sky each day. 

Mercury has been in Morning Star mode (in lead position each day) since their last meetup, during the Mercury Rx Mission back in Nov.

Mercury transitions to Evening Star mode after catching the SUN on Jan 29th. Jumping ahead in the lesson plan, but following along with the outer focus reflected by the Sun.

Venus & Jupiter in Sagittarius

Lady Love & Mr. Expansion 

VENUS meets JUPITER in high aiming Sagittarius where the theme is Exploration! And boy, do they want to explore!

The constellation for this area of Sagittarius is AQUILA the great Eagle of the heavens surveying all from above! The Sabian picture symbol for this degree:

PEOPLE GATHER BEFORE DAWN FOR AN OUTDOOR EASTER SERVICE. 

Aspects gather to receive new outer awareness of the inner subconscious realm.

Outer awareness of the Inner! In ancient times, Easter was the first Full Moon after the Spring Equinox. Easter is now on the Sunday following this first full moon.

The celestial year begins as the Sun enters Aries, honoring a new cycle of Outer growth. Followed by the first full moon Easter celebration of new Inner growth.

Remember the remarkable degree pattern of the recent and upcoming full moons! With FIVE full moons in a row, all at zero degrees of each prospective sign!

All leading up to the first full moon after Spring Equinox! This year, the full moon occurs just 3.75 hours after the changing of the guard as the Sun enters Aries.

The Sun wears the crown in the summer half of the year and the Moon wears the crown in the winter half. Just as the Sun rules the day, and the Moon rules the night.

The SUN takes charge of the spring & summer upon reaching 0°ARIES at the Spring Equinox, in autumn the MOON takes charge of fall & winter at 0°LIBRA.

This epic Spring Equinox Full Moon occurs at 0°LIBRA, the exact same degree where the Moon takes charge over the winter half of the year at Rosh Hashanah.

As if the Universe is really pointing to this celestial occurrence with an epic countdown! For honoring both the Outer and the Inner, on the very same day!

Perhaps the remarkable degree pattern leading up to this magnificent celestial event is marking some kind of new cycle! Though it may go quite unrecognized.

This year, Easter is slated for the Sunday following the second full moon after Spring Equinox. One of those late occurring holidays that may feel rather, off the mark.

Also occurring today, Mercury is aligned with the South Node of the Past in high climbing Capricorn, with Structure and Use of longstanding ideas from the past!
